Baby Ballet Classes - Girls

Red lycra ‘angela’ style leotard with skirt attached

Pink ballet shoes with elastic

White plain ballet socks

Hair in a tidy bun or pony tail

Boys

Black boys sleeveless unitard

Black leather ballet shoes with white elastic

White plain ballet socks. Black leather/canvas Oxford tap shoe. Black jazz shoe

Primary Ballet Grade

Red ‘angela’ style lycra leotard (sleeveless with pinch front)

Red and white plaited belt

White lycra short circular skirt on basque

Pink fully fashioned ballet tights or white ballet socks

Pink leather or satin ballet shoes with pink elastic

Ballet grades from 1 to Grade 6

Red ‘angela’ style lycra leotard (sleeveless with pinch front)

Red and White plaited belt – available from Miss Jayne only at £2.50

Pink fully fashioned ballet tights

Pink leather or satin ballet shoes with either elastic or pink satin ribbons

Tap and Modern Primary to Grade 2

Black jazz shoe/white canvas, low heel tap shoe with heel taps. Teletone taps after Primary.

Tap and Modern Grade3 and above

Black Lycra tap/jazz trousers (dancewear, not ordinary)

Intermediate & Advanced Ballet

Black ‘angela’ style leotard (sleeveless with pinch)

Black, short, georgette skirt

Pink ballet tights

Pink ballet shoes

Please note that black sweat pants may be worn as a warm-up garment or if you are doing ‘floor work’.

Hair must be in a bun for all ballet classes and neatly tied back for modern and tap.
If hair is falling into the face a pupil will be asked to go and pin it back.
