Jayne lives in Redbourn and formed the Jayne Marie Dancing School in 1983. She trained at Norwood Green Academy in West London and gained her ISTD qualifications under the guidance of Miss Elizabeth Harrison at Harrison College in Watford. Jayne has extensive experience with the British Arts Association, entering national competitions and exams from the age of 5. She has been an Examiner for British Arts for the past 15 years, which has taken her all over the country, as well as to Italy and Los Angeles. Jayne was proud to receive the British Arts Leading Teacher Award in both 1997 and 1999 and has been placed either runner up or 3rd in this award every year from 2002 - 2010. Jayne has received the British Arts 'Display of The Year' award twice, for 'The Nutcracker', in 1993, and for 'The Wonderful Land of Oz' in 1996. She had the pleasure of teaching ballet at the famous Italia Conti Stage School in London in 2009 and over the years has also been a guest teacher at various gymnastic clubs and secondary schools. Jayne taught aerobics for 12 years and was employed by Dacorum Council
Leisure Department to teach keep-fit for the over-50s. She has two children,
